But in this case there's an actual person behind this blog, as opposed to just a made-up character in a novel, so I figured I'd have to reveal myself at some point. Off the top of my head, here are my articles that focus on enlightenment:

http://rantswithintheundeadgod.blogspot.ca/2013/11/enlightenment-and-suicide.html

http://rantswithintheundeadgod.blogspot.ca/2013/11/decadence-enlightenment-and-great-story.html

http://rantswithintheundeadgod.blogspot.ca/2014/01/ancient-and-modern-enlightenment-from.html

http://rantswithintheundeadgod.blogspot.ca/2013/02/introversion-and-esoteric.html

http://rsbakker.wordpress.com/2013/04/10/technocracy-buddhism-and-technoscientific-enlightenment-by-benjamin-cain/

http://rantswithintheundeadgod.blogspot.ca/2011/11/buddhism-and-existential-angst.html

But most of my writings touch on that issue since it's so central. For example, the esoteric-exoteric distinction implies that there's such a thing as enlightenment, or as a cognitive elite. At any rate, I'll write an article and make a video responding to his take on naturalism.Benjamin Cainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00661999592897690031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6320802302155582419.post-65656778290812893862014-01-12T10:36:18.139-05:002014-01-12T10:36:18.139-05:00He has gotten much better at controlling his tempe...He has gotten much better at controlling his temper, after repeated complaints from others. IMO, this is the best video of his. He is interviewed by two atheists who both have somewhat romantic views, despite their atheism. Other than AN, I would say you both agree on most things.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxdA_udAzeM

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6320802302155582419.post-41180606897174574522014-01-12T10:21:11.171-05:002014-01-12T10:21:11.171-05:00Thanks! But some of us are doubly alien, because we don't fit into certain artificial worlds (e.g. popular cultures) we set up to replace the terrifying wilderness. These double aliens, or outsiders, either fake it to fit in to various cultures or establish a culture for outsiders.

I've seen only a few of Inmendham's videos. We agree on the naturalism, I think, but he seems to blame human nature more than what I call the undead god. Or maybe he's a monist so he sees no interesting difference between us and the rest of the world. So for him the best existential rebellion would be the termination of our species.

He seems to lose his temper sometimes.Benjamin Cainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00661999592897690031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6320802302155582419.post-53020228909456050462014-01-11T20:25:16.060-05:002014-01-11T20:25:16.060-05:00BTW, I would pay to see you debate Inmendham. You did a good job explaining the "undead god." Although I don't agree with you on antinatalism, it's still comforting to know there are people out there who view nature/existence the same way I do. This way of thinking can make one feel like an alien at times. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
