I'm not saying Trump is so revolutionary, he'll force the rest of the world to take away his power. Instead, I'm saying that if the rest of the world followed the logic of American exceptionalism, but applied it to themselves (since the US has clearly lost the moral high ground), and if other countries followed Dick Cheney's one percent doctrine, there would already have been WWIII and Trump would be gone. I'm saying that if Trump presents merely the appearance of a one percent chance of being a rogue leader that threatens other countries' national security, those countries have the same right to invade the US as the US thought it had to invade Iraq.

Remember that Saddam wasn't really a threat but Bush invaded anyway. He had no WMD, but only a one percent chance of having them to give to terrorists who would threaten the US. Arguably, Trump is much more dangerous to other countries than Iraq was to the US. Thus, other countries could take preventive action against psycho Trump, for the same reason there's talk of invading North Korea. Trump isn't there yet, but it's only been a month. Wait till the scandals pile up; Americans might start to beg Europe or China to invade. Trump cares deeply about Trump. Trump also cares deeply about maintaining, no exacerbating, the excesses and failings of late stage crony capitalism. And look at the Swamp Gators he has surrounded himself with. More reactionary big business tools and sociopaths.

The only thing revolutionary with trump is the utter abandonment of "truth" and politesse in politics. That is a pretty petty thing to be seen as revolutionary.

Finally, I, as well as yourself I would venture, would argue that more revolutions are "bad" than good.

(I do agree with your parsing of Obama, however).
