While your criticims of how Medium handled this are spot on, it seems like the unspoken yet critical issue here is that it is the screaming toddler who gets her way. As you said in the article, you wouldn't dream of reporting someone for genuine harrrasment— to say nothing of the lese-majesty of disagreeing with you; and that is why Karen won and why she will always win in any dispute with a non-Karan.

Exactly. Technically, Medium is fair in allowing anyone to complain. But in practice, not everyone will do so. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Yes, I can post the article on this blog, I suppose.
