The one thing I always found consoling about Cthulha was that it isn't personal: as an embodiment of nature's utter indifference to all human values Cthulha does't hold any animosity towards us. At worst, we're just unsightly cockroaches to be swept away in the tide of Cthulha's awakening. But Trump isn't exactly indifferent — he seems to be actively antagonistic towards all that differentiates men from racoons. To me that indicates that he isn't quite pure enough to be an avatar for the anti-christ spirit. There's just too much ego, too much of Trump remaining in Trump. Take that as a ray of sunshine. Like all who try to instantiate an archetype while clinging to their ego, Trump will fail. The daemon will pack its luggage and find a cleaner, less cluttered abode.
Yes, that's a relevant difference. Lovecraft's monster gods are symbols of nature's impersonality and amorality. Trump's psychopathy approximates that amorality since he can't understand moral questions. But Trump's narcissism makes him crassly self-absorbed, whereas transhuman beings would have lofty, cosmic aspirations.
