On Medium: Are Religions More Helpful than Godless Cultures?

I assume you write a lot of what you do as a form of self therapy. I'm not sure if you realize it or not, but none of this matters anymore. The stories that humans tell are a distraction at this point. The last 3 years have been the hottest in around 125,000 years. CO2 levels are their highest in MILLIONS of years. But most people have no idea this is happening, or don't understand the severity of the situation.
That logic is flimsy, though. You could just as well say that nothing matters because everyone's going to die naturally, even if there were no global warming. Or you could say that nothing matters because our whole planet is relatively tiny and negligible in the universe's scale. I write about that nihilism too.
