  1. Great text! But I remain opposed of your concept of naturalness. The concept and practice of freedom is not unnatural for us. For human beings, especially the most advanced, it is self-awareness that defines their/our naturalness.

    3. I mean that if human behaviour is anomalous in the context of nature-as-mindless-and-absurd-wilderness, then what comes natural to us would be unnatural in the bigger picture. Reason, freewill, self-awareness, creativity, intelligent design, religious myth-making--all the human traits and behaviours that distinguish us from the animals and thus from the rest of the universe.
